The 2010-2011 Hrdy Visiting Fellowship has been awarded to Per Jakob Palsbøll of Stockholm University. He will be working on meshing theory and empirical data concerning the conservation genetics of North Atlantic humpback whales, Megaptera novaeangliae, specifically focusing on methods to estimate ancestral population sizes. This work will be conducted in association with John Wakeley.
